Role Purpose

How does a Learnership work? A learnership is a structured program that gives you the chance to learn theory and get experience working in the real world. You can earn a Short Term and Long Term Insurance NQF Level 4 qualification through our Learnership program, which is approved by INSETA and SAQA. You can pursue careers in operations and claims if you participate in one of our Learnerships. Even though completing the Learnership does not guarantee employment full-time, it does provide you with invaluable experience that can help you launch your career! If you succeed, you will be employed for twelve (12) months and receive a R6,000 monthly stipend.

Requirements

•Candidates must have completed NQF level 4 or 12th grade. •Candidates must have a 60% or 70% passing rate in pure math or mathematical literacy.

•Candidates must have a 65% English score. Applicants must be unemployed at the moment. •Candidates must be 18 to 30 years old.

•The applicants must not have previously participated in a learnership.

Responsibilities and duties

PROCESS Comply with the learnership program’s requirements by actively participating in classroom sessions and practical on-the-job training.

A thorough comprehension of the company’s products, policies, and procedures is essential for the success of on-the-job training activities.

Prepare a comprehensive evidence portfolio with care for submission to SETA.

For work-based learning, keep detailed logbooks to record all of your practical experiences. Complete the formative and summative assessments with success and reach the required proficiency level.

Ensure an effective workflow by demonstrating proficiency in system usage and operational procedures.

CLIENT Create a network based on respect and trust by cultivating relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders.

Follow through on service level agreements with clients and stakeholders while effectively managing expectations. proactively improve service quality by making suggestions for improving client service and ensuring fair treatment. Uphold exceptional client service standards, participate in a culture that encourages honest feedback, and foster meaningful relationships. Monitor and improve quality standards and turnaround times, resolving issues quickly to improve customer service. Ensure that client service delivery goals are met in accordance with established standards for expert advice and service. Utilize feedback to improve client service and operational procedures, efficiently manage client inquiries, and guarantee their accurate resolution. PEOPLE Fostering positive expectations and solid relationships among coworkers. Continuously improve your knowledge of the industry, putting it to good use in specialized areas. Influence and support change initiatives in a positive way.

Develop, share, and actively implement new ideas within the team to foster an innovative culture. Focus on productivity, service excellence, and quality management to promote a work-centric mindset. FINANCE Find ways to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness while encouraging fiscal prudence. Accurately investigate and resolve unresolved policy and governance compliance issues by escalating them. Participate in the processes of identifying risks and effectively communicate recommendations in relevant forums.
