Apply Now to save Concerning the position The bank’s Group Technology environment requires two Intermediate Project Managers. Working closely with Technical Product Owners (TPOs), these positions will be distributed across a variety of initiatives and will be housed within the PMO.
Data-driven and banking-related projects are the primary focus, which necessitates strong stakeholder engagement, structured delivery capabilities, and the capacity to work in a hybrid Agile environment.
Principal Responsibilities Project delivery from start to finish in the banking, technology, and data fields Control project scope, timelines, costs, and quality (PM Triangle) by planning and carrying it out. Engage stakeholders at the executive, technology, and business levels. Coordinate closely with the PMO and TPOs to ensure that delivery objectives are met. In environments that are both Agile and hybrid, facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure efficient delivery.
Monitor issues, dependencies, and risks, and act quickly to mitigate them.
Provide stakeholders and governance forums with regular updates, dashboards, and reporting.
Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements
Essential Requirements Eight years of experience in total, with at least five years working as a Project Manager Proven track record of completing projects involving technology or data a solid comprehension of:
The fundamentals of project management (PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.) Time, cost, and scope management (the PM Triangle) demonstrated capacity to effectively manage stakeholders Working knowledge of structured PMO environments Favorite Experience Projects in data warehousing, analytics, and data warehousing Knowledge of the banking or financial services industries Knowledge of the systems and data landscapes of banking Experience with agile delivery in business settings Certifications
PMBOK or PRINCE2 (or an equivalent) Certifications in agile methods like: Practitioner and Foundation of PRINCE2 Agile AgilePM
Scrum (beneficial) Essential Skills proficiency in managing stakeholders and communicating effectively ability to confidently describe one’s method of delivery in interviews structured, focused on the details, and geared toward delivery accustomed to working in multi-tiered, complex environments responsible and proactive Important Reminders Candidates must be able to articulate clearly:
